Terms & conditions
Bidsonline Pty Ltd (Bidsonline) agrees to supply you with a PPSR certificate and a Valuation report using the VIN that you enter into the web site: www.checkthatcar.com.au and you agree to pay the nominated fee.
Customer acknowledgements
You acknowledge that Bidsonline does not own the data contained within the reports but compiles the data from the Personal Property Securities Register (PPSR) and the National Exchange for Vehicle and Driver Information System (NEVDIS) and the Glass’s valuation data.
You acknowledge that the information on vehicles written off or stolen is retrieved from the PPSR B2G system which in turn relies upon the NEVDIS system.
You acknowledge that the PPSR system, the NEVDIS system and the Glass’s valuation database may not be available due to system errors.
You acknowledge that to receive the PPSR certificate and the Valuation report you must enter a valid email address.
You acknowledge that Bidsonline may send to you from time to time by email information about it’s products and services.
You acknowledge that Bidsonline are not professional valuers and that you agree that the Valuation report is a guide only to the current market value and cannot be considered a subsitute for a detailed inspection of the vehicle.
You agree not to rely on any advice provided by this web site or employees of Bidsonline.
Whilst Bidsonline takes steps to validate the VIN that you enter into the web site you acknowledge that it is your responsibility to enter the correct VIN of the vehicle you wish to check. You acknowledge that Bidsonline cannot be held responsible for incorrect report because you entered an incorrect VIN.
Your obligations
You agree not to modify the PPSR certificate or the Valuation report provided.
You agree to provide a valid credit card which you are authorised to use to pay the nominated fee.
Limited Liability
Bidsonline does not accept responsibility for errors, ommissions, liability or loss suffered as a result of the use of the PPSR certificate or the Valuation report by yourself or any other party. Bidsonline’s total liability for any claim or direct loss shall not exceed the amount of the fee paid by you to Bidsonline.
Bidsonline does not accept any responsibility for interference or damage to your own computer system or data which arises in connection with the use of this site.
Refunds
Bidsonline will refund in full the fee paid if the PPSR Certificate and the Valuation reports are not provided within 1 day of your request.
Governing Law
These terms and conditions are governed by the laws of New South Wales, Australia. You agree to jurisdiction of the courts in New South Wales, Australia.
